Like many of you who attended ACA’s Ignite at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, we made sure to pack some comfortable shoes knowing there would be some serious steps for our pedometers to track. The experience didn’t disappoint. We were able to collaborate with industry colleagues, educate ourselves on new technologies and strategies, and indulge in various instructive sessions.
We especially enjoyed the time spent meeting attendees in-person for the first time as well as catching up with longtime friends. It’s always exciting to learn the challenges being faced by others in the industry along with the innovative use of technology and resources to solve them.
CONFERENCE THEME
The theme of the conference included being open to new successful technologies and ideas. As we continue to face change within the areas of industry regulation, client agreements, and staffing, so does the need for us to tackle each day with fresh ideas and new approaches. Ignite sessions shared current approaches for both communicating with consumers as well as ways that today’s consumer pays their debt. From updates on the impacts of Regulation F to effectively managing your agency margin, the Ignite sessions left attendees with several nuggets of ideas and information to take with them.
PARTNER COLLABORATION
We also spent time with the other vendor partners that were in attendance. The relationship between the partner representatives is focused on innovation and common goals. We found it exciting to see how naturally our solution fits with so many of the different partner solutions that were present. Using The Intelitech Group scoring attributes, prioritization can be assigned to accounts before submitting other partners, ensuring specific inventory is included in your processes and workflow. The collaboration and willingness to work together are definitely there and growing!
QUALITY CONFERENCE
The ACA continues to deliver on quality, value-add session content, and a great overall conference experience. While the venue encouraged discussion, those that are part of our industry thrive on collaboration and learning from each other. In today’s competitive world, having open discussions about challenges and how they are faced isn’t always up for discussion with others.
